Michael Schmitz
Michael (52) is the creator of SmarterGerman and a professional German tutor since 2000. I’ve been studying the art of learning and teaching since 1990 and am a language enthusiast. I speak Polish (B1+’ish, was B2 20 years ago and is a bit rusty now) and am fluent in English. I’ve got a highly analytical mind which loves to get to the core of things and am excellent at explaining complex matters in clear and comprehensible language.
Alessio Bona
Alessio (40) is a native Italian speaker and studied German as a foreign language up to C2 level. He’s fluent in Spanish and French and he’s also been studying Mandarin Chinese for many years now and even has developped his own sophisticated mnemonic device to remember the language’s characters better.
